Research Study on the College Student´s Sex Role Socialization and Attitude on Sexual Violence

Abstract
|

|
The purpose of this study is examine the College Student´s Sex role Socialization and Attitude on Sexual Violence. Questionnaire survey was conducted from 10th Novemeber and 3rd December, 1999 in `D´ college. Then 533 sheets among collected were analyzed by SPSSIPC+computer program. The research tool were questionnaires about internalization degree of sex role socialization, attitude on sexuality and rape by Kim(1996).
The results and suggestions from the analyses may be summed up as follows.
1. The internalization degree of sex role socialization will be directly proportional to sexual attitude.
2. Attitude on sexuality will be directly proportional to attitude on rape.
3. The internalization degree of sex role socialization will be directly proportional to attitude on rape.
To prevent sexual violence as rape further study about attitude on sexuality and rape is needed continuously.
